The objective of the qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge necessary to be an integral part of a HACCP team in manufacturing and other related industries,distribution and storage. The qualification is aimed at learners who are already working in food manufacturing with knowledge of food hazards and controls.

The course include understanding the importance of HACCP-based food safety management procedures, the preliminary processes for HACCP-based procedures, how to develop HACCP-based food safety management procedures, how to implement HACCP-based food safety management procedures and how to verify HACCP based procedures.
The total qualification time (TQT) for this qualification is 15 hours, of which 13 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.
