WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The Person in Charge Level 3 is a certification aimed at caterers and other food handlers. The qualification is intended for candidates who are directly involved in manufacturing, preparation, packing etc and their managers/supervisors.

Their role in training their staff and in ensuring compliance with food safety legislation

CONTENT
This is an intensive course and will be presented in a varied methods using the Highfield training pack and covers the following topics:
Microbiology
Microbial, Physical, Chemical and Allergenic hazards and controls
Food poisoning
Personal hygiene
Premises and equipment
Cleaning and disinfection
Pest management
Food Safety Management
Supervisory management
DURATION
Conducted in 18 learning hours spread over 3 days.
LANGUAGE
English, Hindi, Urdu and Malayalam
ASSESSMENT AND CERTIFICATES
The assessment will be conducted upon completion of the training course by the awarding body on behalf of the Food Control Department. Candidates must successfully pass a two-hour multiple-choice assessment (available in English/Hindi/Urdu Arabic/Malayalam).
Successful candidates will receive a certificate by HABC - Person in Charge Level 3 Training valid for 5 years.
